DISNEY MAGIC ARTIST ONLINE GOES LIVE

New Disney Website Powered by HP Offers Printable Character Templates, Electronic Coloring Activities and a Unique Scrapbook Maker

North Hollywood, Calif., April 28, 2003 - Disney Online, part of the Walt Disney Internet Group and creator of the number one kids' entertainment and family community online destination (www.disney.com), has announced the launch of Disney Magic Artist online. Powered by HP, a strategic partner in delivering Disney magic to families in the home and online, the new site lets guests design and print their own coloring pages, greeting cards, calendars, play sets, and personalized, color-printed pages for scrapbooks and photo albums.

Disney Magic Artist Online can be accessed by logging onto www.disney.com/magicartist. Once on the homepage, simply click on any of the five icons: coloring pages, greeting cards, calendars, play sets or scrapbook maker. By selecting one, for example the calendar maker, guests can choose from an array of Disney characters and personalization features. They then print the designs and color as they wish. In the scrapbook page maker, digital images can be imported directly from the guest's computer to the scrapbook page and instantly sent to their color printer.

"Printables have always ranked among our most popular online attractions," said Ken Goldstein, executive vice president and general manager of Disney Online. "We see this as a unique way for kids and parents to interact while creating something truly memorable. Bringing together all of our creativity tools in an integrated experience is something we have wanted to do for a long time, and HP technology offers our guests even greater advantages in making printing fun. "

"Disney Magic Artist Online is a great example of the possibilities that HP technology brings to life for kids and parents," said Mike Weir, Worldwide Consumer Marketing Vice President, HP Imaging and Printing Group. "Our broad technology capabilities, from powerful HP ProLiant servers on the back-end to leading printing products, allow us to offer new and unique experiences for consumers to enjoy."

Currently featured characters at Disney Magic Artist Online include Classic Characters, Pooh, a Princess Collection, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, and Aladdin. Throughout the site, guests receive exclusive tips and tricks for printing from the experts at HP.
